There may be something to this. Last December, the bustling little village of Islamberg, NY was no longer bustling.

Something else to ponder; up and down the Hudson Valley, foreclosed, vacant homes have been stripped of appliances, water heaters, electric meters and propane tanks.....just about anything that wasn't nailed down for the last few years. Who is doing this is anybody's guess but the items are out there on the underground market.....including the propane tanks.

The SUV was also parked next to the headquarters of Viacom.

Viacom owns Comedy Central, which aired a recent controversial episode of the animated "South Park," depicting the prophet Mohammed in a bear costume, drawing the ire of some extremists.

Better to back to attacking Jesus and the Virgin Mary,

I’m shocked that the Taliban, followers of the religion of peace, would make such a claim. The MSM and Obama will tell us it was those government hating tea party types that did this and they sure don’t lie. (mega sarcasm)

“Qari Hussain Mehsud from Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan accepts the recent Attack on Times Square” Updated
Update: Fox News reports another explosive device discovered in Pittsburgh. Stable Hand found this link. - Bluto

I credit Bill Roggio with breaking the story.

The YouTube channel by which the message was delivered was created on April 30, 2010, i.e. before the bombing:

www.youtube.com/user/TalibanNews

The only video uploaded is the claim of responsibility:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxgTdkoM0Bw

None of this is conclusive, but it is mighty interesting.

Since the channel and the message are evidence, please allow investigators time to get YouTube to preserve all data related to this event.

“Pakistani Taliban claim credit for failed NYC Times Square car bombing”
By BILL ROGGIO
May 2, 2010 10:24 AM

SNIPPET: “Qari Hussain Mehsud, the top bomb maker for the Movement of the Taliban in Pakistan, said he takes “fully responsibility for the recent attack in the USA.” Qari Hussain made the claim on an audiotape accompanied by images that was released on a YouTube website that calls itself the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan News Channel.

The tape has yet to be verified, but US intelligence officials contacted by The Long War Journal believe it is legitimate. The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan News Channel on YouTube was created on April 30. Officials believe it was created to announce the Times Square attack, and Qari Hussain’s statement was pre-recorded.

All indications are the tape is legitimate. YouTube has pulled the video and shut down the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan News Channel since this article was published.

Qari Hussain Mehsud. Image is from a Pakistani Army wanted poster.

“This attack is a revenge for the great & valuable martyred leaders of mujahideen,” Qari Hussain said. He listed Baitullah Mehsud, the former leader of the Pakistani Taliban who was killed in a Predator strike in August 2009, and Abu Omar al Baghdadi, the former leader of al Qaeda Islamic State of Iraq who was killed by Iraqi forces in mid-April. And although he was not mentioned, an image of Abu Ayyub al Masri, the leader of al Qaeda in Iraq, was also displayed in the images accompanying the audiotape.”

I don’t know Yaelle.

I just started looking after church and some of the videos and copies have been pulled.

The video which I saw was photographs plus an audio and that content has already been removed when I went to look at it.

I’ll have to leave it to the experts to answer your question.
