This is a shot from a traffic camera late this afternoon. This is Interstate 24 at Bell Road (exit 56) on the southeast side of Nashville. Traffic got backed up because the road had a little standing water on it. Then Mill Creek rose out of its banks very quickly. They rescued lots of people, and I believe that they said someone drowned there. There are a huge number of flooded areas in Nashville, and officials are telling to stay off the roads unless it is an emergency.
