"Family Guy" Creator Says Arizona Law Like Nazi Germany

"Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane has compared a tough new immigration law in Arizona to those of Nazi Germany.

MacFarlane, whose irreverent animated TV comedies have themselves provoked controversy, said the Arizona law was more shocking than anything he had done on television.

"It's too much. It's kind of a slap in the face, it's not the way to handle it...Nobody but the Nazis ever asked anybody for their papers," MacFarlane told Reuters Television in an interview on Thursday.

"Walking down the street, a cop can come up to you and say 'May I see your papers?' -- I think they should be required to ask that question in German if the law sticks around," he added.

Typical trashy, foul-mouthed liberal Hollywood executive.

He has no moral principle except being opposed to Nazis.

What courage!

The finely tuned intellects of the “Progressive” Hollywood crowd are unable to differentiate rounding up, gassing, and cremating millions of people with a law that is almost word for word the same as existing Federal law.

This is why I could give a crap what anyone in Hollywood has to say.

Keep making cartoons, dumbass.

When the wife and I bought a house six years ago, we had to produce LOTS and LOTS of papers. That’s just a fact of life. Libs, as usual, are trying to demagogue the issue.

These people are really showing their “stupidity.” He can’t rent a car without a driver’s license. Is that also “Nazi?” C’mon ... on to other issues.

When a cop pulls you over for a traffic stop - he asks for your papers, your ID, your license - this is everyday living now blown up into Nazism. What a joke!

I would not take this ‘chandelier repairman’ seriously.

Obvious hit piece by ABC News! Use someone of popular fame to spout propaganda. ABC News does not say it itself in an effort to dodge any blame.

This a-hole is utterly clueless. Cops have always been able to ask you for identification, and to remove you if your failure to do so indicated probable cause for a violation of some sort.

I was asked for “my papers” yesterday when I bought some behind the counter cold medicine. If I get stopped for speeding, the first thing I’m asked for is “my papers”.

This bunghole was actually scheduled to fly on one of the 9/11 aircraft that was hijacked. He missed the flight or something.

How I wish his sorry ass had made it-he could have spent his last few minutes before his death in a fireball gargling the ‘nads and kissing the behinds, as I’m sure he would have, of some real fascists-I’m sure this “edgy, brave” clown wouldn’t breathe a word against Muslims, even while they were killing him.

“Let’s roll”? not Seth-he’d say “Let’s rollup into a ball and whimper”.

As the great Eric Hoffer said:

“Those who bite the hand tthat feeds them usually also lick the boot that kicks them”
