My godson is autistic and he does suffer from mental anguish because of his inability at times to express his feelings.

Just because autistic people have trouble getting stuff out, doesn’t mean stuff doesn’t get in.
Through the use of keyboards and sign language, they’ve discovered that most autistic people tend to be exceptionally bright.
Probably brighter than you are.
