I don’t suppose them shutting off the Internet Streams has anything to do with the drop, eh?
Cicero, Glen Beck is a flake but he has moments of sheer brilliance. If you check out this link you will be amazed by his brilliance in putting the pieces together about Obama and his wrecking ball crew. It is long (four parts) and it takes patience but it is nothing short of astounding journalism. All the big topics — environment, Sachs, tarp — are on display.

What if he is right?
Something about that photograph of Obama. It almost looks... fake. Id swear Ive seen that look on at least a dozen photographs. That's only because Obama has that same swindling-politician smile on his smarmy mug over and over and OVER again, at age 18 ...
... and age 29 ...
... and age 48 ...

Even though I don't find myself in disagreement with Beck very often and I only hear him on the radio I think you pretty much nailed it.
I already know things could get a lot worse, I already know the commies have gotten hold of a large portion of our government, I already know the economy sucks. I don't need to hear it every darned day for two or three hours.
And his theme music that opens the radio show is so damned annoying with that funeral dirge like AWFULL crap. It makes my skin crawl.
I often end up turning off the radio when he starts in with that overly emotional tone that he gets where he sounds like he is going to cry any second. At times he sounds like a Libertarian “Sammy Maudlin”. (Old SCTV fans will understand that one)
I don’t watch him anymore. Too busy!
Drives me nuts too.
So we just came off Lenten season this year no tv other than Catholic TV (no commercials blaring).
Now the tv ads come on and they are so dang loud you have to keep the clicker handy not to go nuts and be able to speak with others in the room at a normal tone.
Also everytime we tune in to (back to back on our cable) CNN/Fox/NWCN every one of them are on commercial breaks....long breaks.
Then if we catch an actual show/news it is so chatted up it takes forever to get to the meat of the subject.
And the morning news show people...( I share living space so I cant turn it off) HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY (wired out on java) and talking about each others lives.
Where the HECK is the News...I dont care about the news anchors private lives.
I really dont like phoney bologni lame tv anymore.
Movies if you can find one are ok.
But coming from 43 days of peace/prayer/Catholic life via tv/radio and back to the secular world is horrible.
Thank God for FR reading and late night after KV is asleep EWTN tv or radio when I am in the other room doing chores. PEACE.
Bingo- your entire post! The past couple of days, he's been more edgy and better than the past couple of weeks where I've watched a bit and turned the TV off.
The "partnership" with O'Reilly IMHO affects his shows negatively - especially with the promos for the theatrical events they do together. Besides selling "gear," the whole package seems to be built around money and how to make even more money.
The bozos who denounce "birthers" have obviously no respect for an ever-increasing segment of the population questioning the complete lack of personal information (including education documents) and lack of vetting for this president. It IS part of our Constitution and these are the same people who denounce Obama for ignoring the Constitution. It's hypocritical.
No one can ever fault Glenn for that. This past week specifically, Glenn has been on a roll and frankly IMHO I believe he fears for his own safety with what he brings to us informationally. He's been fantastic on the radio as well.
He's much more sharp without all the extracurricular "shows" besides his radio and TV appearances.
Just an awful lot of stuff going on and a lot to keep up with and I agree, no one else seems to be talking about it. Listened to Beck yesterday about the Puerto Rico issue - I’ve been around for a very long time but had not a clue as to what this really meant. Called a whole bunch of folks in DC and sent emails to all my group telling them to call their Congressmen and tell them to vote no. If I hadn’t listened to Beck’s presentation on this, I would have been totally clueless.
Dont the enviromentalist whacko, sky is falling, buy my carbon credit types use the same logic? What if Algore is right?
Common sense stuff, like get out of debt, dont live beyond your means stuff is fine. Stocking up on the Ramen for the apocalypse is another.
Yep.
Can’t help it. That’s just the way it is.
Excellent.
73 posts but we got to the news/headline that the data supports.
Rush's commercial load is less than that of his competitors', by maybe 25%.
People were doing their taxes, stupid. IT was the week of April 9th. Taxes are April 15th. Do the math.
What can we do about obama & co.? Nothing. Except vote! And Beck does emphasize that.
What suggestions do you have?
I have to agree. What he and his researchers are pulling out thread by thread is the unraveling of what is beginning to look like a ponzi scheme that leads to our White House that is going to make Madoff look like Santa Clause.
The people he hooked together today are some dangerous people to tick off. I wouldn’t want to be in Beck’s shoes right now.
You are right! Thank you for your post...I, too, am EXHAUSTED....I’m close to tears, especially after the vote today in the house on Puerto Rico...our “representatives” are MORONS! 60 Republicans supported this bill!!! You can’t even access info on it on the internet!!!!! It’s scrubbed!
Beck must be exhausted, too. I salute him for all he’s teaching...I don’t care if he’s all doom and gloom-—that’s what we’re FACING! Want sugar-coating? Watch ABC, NBC, MSNBC, etc.
We HAVE to stay tuned...who else is telling us what is going on under our noses and the noses of the very “representatives” whose salaries we pay?
I pray for his safety. I hope he continues.
And, I’m sorry, but anyone who chooses to pay more attention to baseball than what’s being perpetrated against citizens HOURLY by this abomination of an administration, deserves what’s coming at us.
I e-mailed Lieberman last night—told him his name is sh*t for having a fund raiser for Harry Reid...(it beats watching sports.....sorry...I’m PO’d——AND exhausted).
