If it is as you say a hoax, then National Geographic has been duped as well.
Where is your evidence that “something” was not found? Ark or an old dwelling - there is 99.9% chance that the video and photos are not staged props - so let the investigation happen and we can decide for ourselves.

Why can’t the skeptics of the literal account of Noah and the Flood find reason to be excited about a pretty spectacular archeological find? Even if it’s not the Ark, finding a human built structure older than the ice and lava flow that cover it should be reason for Christian and secular alike to be excited.
But most of the non-believers here on FR and in much greater numbers on the DU are hoping this all turns out to be some sophisticated hoax so they can laugh at the silly Christians, and so they can find reason to continue to reject the Gospel.
