I must have missed where the police beat someone. It seemed as if the police marched to spot between where the crowd was allowed to stand and where they were not allowed to go.

Then when it was over, they marched away.

I’m not seeing any civil liberty issues here.

I hate Obama’s guts but I can’t see anything out of the ordinary in the videos other than what appears to be standard operating procedures which looked silly since the old people seem a lot less threatening on camera than a bunch of Ron Paul whackos so the photo op is priceless.

Please point me to any video or pix of the police arresting someone.

I did not say there was any violence. What I’ve seen in NJ with regard to Tea Party protests was the assignment of a few street cops to the crowd in the beginning—February a year ago. Except for demonstrations in Trenton, NJ state capitol, that number has diminished—wxcept where there is a counter demonstration. I spoke with one cop and he said they loved our kind of crowd—especially because the protest area was always cleaner after we left than before we came.

My point was the appearance of multiple officers in full riot gear is recent development. Its sole purpose is to reinforce the demrat propaganda theme that Tea Partiers are violent.
