Great list! Don’t forget...

Jerome - old mining town built crazily on a hillside. Now more of a tourist area, the Haunted Hamburger is GOOD eats!

Montezuma Castle, Montezuma Well, Tuzigoot, Tonto Natural Bridge (if open), Meteor Crater (private - pictures do this no justice. It is breath-taking in person!) and myriad other Native American ruins or natural formations. You could spend days driving to and hiking these many smaller attractions.

Oh, I forgot Canyon de Chelly (pronounced “de Shay”) in the north-east corner at Chinle. An amazing canyon with Anisazi ruins throughout. The “White Castle” ruins area has a hiking path into the canyon (700 ft vertical) that is a wonderful way to get in at no cost. Worth a visit!!!
