It is really really safe, there are guards
everywhere!
Yes, there are guards everywhere. You can easily tell
them from everyone else. They're the decapitated corpses
with the uniforms.

I could be wrong, but his headline indicates...maybe wrongly...he plans to travel to Mexco.
If so, the tragedy is that are so many beautiful places within the U.S. Why travel ouside of the U.S. during these dangerous times when there is so much so see in the U.S.?

Tattoo your name and address on your torso. That way your remains can be identified after the drug gangs dump your body.

Right! My friend did not seem to see the irony in her words. If it was really really safe, there would be no need for guards everywhere,

I, too, could be wrong, but I think the headline is actually a question on a FAQ board asking about travel restrictions to Mexico. The first comment they made was that they would never be going to Mexico.

You will need a good kevlar vest and paid up insurance.
No personal protection, in Mexico only outlaws can have guns.

You can buy anything in Mexico. My husbands uncle died in Mexico of natural causes and the family had to buy his body to get him home for burial. That is sad but so darn funny!

Let’s see now. You don’t understand my post meant to point out the rules & regulations for foreigners visiting Mexico and having to carry ID and what they expect America to do (nothing) about Mexicans here illegally and obviously without id.
and I am the one dumber than a rock?

You are exactly correct. The header is a FAQ off the Mexican Embassy web site.

Mark Levin cited this thread on his radio program tonight. He gets it. He understands what you are trying to illustrate, while some thick-headed FReepers do not.

(So there.)
To: HD1200
Well, of course you do! Do you think we let people just walk across the border without any identification?
What? Oh. Never mind.
To: HD1200
Your headline indicated to me that you were the one who was traveling to Mexico. Maybe you should re-word it if that was not what you meant.
To: arasina
Thank you for your comment.
To: Gatún(CraigIsaMangoTreeLawyer)
4 out of 5 here seem to have caught on after reading the obvious link to the Mexican embassy and my post.
I am sorry you didn’t. Better luck next time and stay out of the water......
