And this is how the great unraveling of support always happens -- always. Some Republican dumps on all the others -- too racist, unworkable, extreme, uncomfortable -- and then the avalanche of Republican critism takes off. The next step is that peoplebecome embarrassed to be associated with the issue.

Have we ever seen Democrats do this? Not hardly. Stick to your guns, no matter what Tancredo or anyone else professes.

But hey, maybe Tancredo will get a nice editorial write up in the NYTimes now...

He'll be the conservative viewpoint on all the lib talking head shows this week.
