“Reps. John Spratt of South Carolina, who oversees the Budget Committee, and Ike Skelton of Missouri, who runs the Armed Services Committee, have been warned by party leaders to step up the intensity of their campaigns to help preserve the Democratic majority.”

“It’s not a lifetime appointment,” said Sean Duffy

Exactly right. It is not Obey’s seat it is the peoples seat and they will determine who occupies it. Hey msm go to hell.

It was just 4 years ago that the Republicans controlled the House. It isn’t hard to imagine that happening again.

From an email I received.

Remember when Ronald Reagan was president, we also had Bob Hope and Johnny Cash still with us...

Now we have Obama... and -no Hope- and -no Cash-!

"Republicans are confident of big gains in November, and perhaps even winning back the House."

"Perhaps"?

The Dems are going to suffer an historic bloodbath in November. There's no way to sugar-coat that.

It's why they're sweating bullets to get the rest of their radical leftist agenda passed before the fall.

Here are a couple of threads provided by Freepers trying to assess the vunerable Democratic seats.

Democrats are preparing to lose as many as 30 House seats

Oooo, a whole thirty. That's like being prepared to have your doctor tell you that you're coughing up blood because of a minor cold.

Obey is a can of pesticide spraying himself all over America. He reflects back on Wisconsin as a product of the liberal idiots who allow him a seat in congress. I bet 60% of his voters are single stupid females.

Hmm..”threatening...long held Democrat Seats”. Like, Ted Kennedy’s Seat? Like, the New Jersey Governorship? Like, the perviously Democrat held Virginia Governorship?. Yeah, I guess you could call those “threats” :)

It’s not hard to imagine Sprat in trouble, he has had tough elections before, but I would think that if Obey is in trouble they could lose a heck of a lot more than 30 seats.

Professional politicians at all levels of government are a greater threat than all our foreign enemies.
