And, most people won’t bother to clean them up in an “environmentally safe” manner if they do break, because familiarity breeds complacency.

The EPA’s “uninhabitable” mercury level probably reflects a far lower daily dose from the exposure than what the kids get from fish sandwiches for lunch, and that would require all the mercury to get vaporized and be mixed evenly in the air.

The curly mercury light bulb is the symbol of environmental hypocrisy. The "environmentalists" ignore a real hazards like mercury. because they really just want control over people and to have a self-righteous cause.
