To: St. Louis Conservative
Wow. One wonders if this will seal the long-term fate of the Arizona GOP?? Will this turn Hispanics against them for generations, and therefore decimate their electoral viability in the future? Or is that a Democrat talking point. Honest answers only, please.

I dont think it will hurt the AZ GOP all that much - polls are showing a 70%+ approval of the new law among AZ voters. The most vocal opponents were never going to be GOP voters anyway.

“all that much”?

Does that mean that you concede that it will indeed hurt them, just “not that much”? That’s not a comforting thought given the rapidly rising percentage of the vote that Hispanics represent, particularly in a state like Arizona.
