NEW YORK (AP) — Producers of "South Park" said Thursday that Comedy Central removed a speech about intimidation and fear from their show after a radical Muslim group warned that they could be killed for insulting the Prophet Muhammad.
It came during about 35 seconds of dialogue between the cartoon characters of Kyle, Jesus Christ and Santa Claus that was bleeped out.
"It wasn't some meta-joke on our part," producers Trey Parker and Matt Stone said. Comedy Central declined to comment.
Earlier this week, the radical group Revolution Muslim said on its website that "South Park" had insulted their prophet during last week's episode by depicting him in a bear costume.
The group said it wasn't threatening Parker and Stone, but it included a gruesome picture of Theo Van Gogh, a Dutch filmmaker killed by a Muslim extremist in 2004, and said the producers could meet the same fate. The website posted the addresses of Comedy Central's New York office and the California production studio where "South Park" is made.

It’s hard to admit this as a Christian, but more and more I agree with you. It’s time for a really good bloodletting among the muzzies.
The west once had it’s aggressive peoples that built great nations. But the French lost it in 1916 after the bloodletting of Verdun, the British lost it after the bloodletting of the Somme and the Germans lost it in 1943 after Stalingrad.

Jon Barf Stewart had a decent rant on the South Park incident, ending with a Gospel Choir telling the Muslim threatener, “Go f*** yourself!”
I saw the episode and it was a crock of crap. They didn’t even show MoHAMmid. South Park is still gutless and cowardly. Perhaps they knew threats would come and are using this to get more publicity and viewers.
I didn’t think it was particularly funny or scathing. In his solidarity with his “good friends” (yeah,right) Matt and Trey, he brought on his Muslim correspondent who explained that cartoons of Muhammed *are* offensive and that he’s the real victim because he feels forced to wear an American flag because of all those violent Christians in Manhattan that want to kidnap him and cut off his head. Take THAT you terrorists!
