Legalize the crap and let RJ Reynolds grow it and tax the bejeezus out of it and you’ll see how fast the Mexicans stop smuggling it in here. And spare me the ‘’Yeah but they’ll only do X.’’ What are the Mexicans going to do? Sell it cheaper? Even a dumb Mexican drug dealer knows you don’t make a profit selling at a loss.
If it’s legal, those would be mexican farmers. They’d be selling it to RJ Reynolds and we wouldn’t care at all about it.
