That’s what makes it so appealing.

The tax is “hidden” from the consumer, who will only see the state sales tax on the receipt.

The administration, well, employment will have to increased so VAT consultants can identify the discrete points of a process where value is added to a product.

Now, combine with a VAT aka sales tax on services - legal, medical, financial.......

Or like Monty Python, let’s tax thingie.
