The attitude inside the administration with respect to a VAT is not “if”, it’s just “when.”
The stupid party had the house, the senate, and the white house. Spending and stupidity went on unabated. Do you really think replacing the left currently in place with the center left of the stupid party will make a difference once a VAT is in place? Hell, the GOP of late will look on this windfall as just another “resource” to be spent. It’s time to stop digging.
Same old same old ain’t gonna fix it this time. Grass roots conservatives might, hence the lamestream’s primary goal of painting the Tea Party as a group of racist redneck militia.
November’s coming. It could make enough of a difference to save the republic. Will it?
