Why this rabbi didn't vote for Obama

I just logged on and noticed your apology and did not want it to go unacknowledged. I thank you for it very much. I worry when posting things about Israel that people on FreeRepublic with whom i agree about almost everything will be put off by Jews’ deep commitment to Israel and will be angered by it.
We conservatives have so much in common and so very much to worry about from the Left. We can let our disagreements about religion wait until there’s nothing left to talk about. And because we’re all civilized human beings (unlike our political adversaries) we can talk to each other about those things, knowing that it’s very important but also knowing that the freedom that brought us to FR will be enough to get us all Home at our own best pace.

Thank you. And I agree with your comments as well. I was overly critical of Rabbi Wohlberg for agreeing with 0bama's socialist policies, but at least Rabbi Wohlberg did vote against 0bama because of his concerns over 0bama's anti-Semitic background, his former pastor Wright and his entire past rooted in anti-Semitism. And I should certainly give Rabbi Wohlberg credit for standing against 0bama and writing the article to explain. I think at this stage, anyone who votes against or opposes 0bama for any reason, we need to encourage that type of resistance against 0bama.

Personally, as a born again fundamental Christian, I am a strong advocate for the nation of Israel, and a member of "Yedidim (friend) of Israel", plus I contribute regularly to Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein's organization, The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, who are working to assist tens of thousands of elderly Jews, woman, children , who are suffering starvation, poverty & deprivation in Russia, former USSR bloc countries and even in Israel. My heart goes out to the nation of Israel & to suffering Jews around the world. I believe the Bible is very much true when God included in his Abrahamic covenant that He would bless those who bless Israel, and He will curse those who curse Israel. 0bama is clearly among those who would curse & revile Israel, and he will incur the wrath of God throughout eternity for his opposition to the Jewish people and nation of Israel.
