Thank you. I hope that regular passenger ships make a comeback. I crossed the Atlantic twice as a child around 1959-60. I would much rather travel that way than fly.

I track merchant vessels across the Pacific as part of my job. Tokyo to the west coast is a standard nine days. I would imagine that you would save at least three days given the shorter distances across the Atlantic and faster speed of passenger liners. Do you remember how long the voyages took or were you too young to care?
