If youll recall, in 1996, he used the OKC bombing to run a successful smear campaign against his critics on talk radio all the way to re-election.
He was headed to a one term presidency until that happened.
The Republican takeover of House and Sentate came in 1994 because of a backlash nationwide to the behind closed doors unelected co-presidency of Hillary Clinton ramming through Socialized Medicine.
Tom Brokaw (or was it Peter Jennings) declared that America threw a temper tantrum when the Democrats lost both the House and Senate.
We are still dealing with the same media, the same long term goals, and the same partisan smears.
You want to talk McCarthyism and bogus hysteria? The smears by Democats are never critized as extremist and false rhetoric in our textbooks or media.

The Justice Department never did bother to learn what motivated McVeigh’s partner John Doe number two.

He’s an extraordinarily good liar. I forgot who said that, but whoever it was spoke the truth.

This bastard just never shuts up. one day the truth will come out, that OKC was a jihadist attack on American soil, that Clinton covered up because he would not allow the perception that such a thing could happen on his watch.
Scumbag.

were profoundly alienated, disconnected people who bought into this militant antigovernment line.
Tim McVeigh was motivated by the militant government massacre of civilian men, women, and children.

I would think that someone would draw parallels between a tone deaf ruling class, and citizens inability to be heard. There is a tremendous release of pressure when and if concerns are listened to and met. What would blacks have done if after marching with MLK, and the govt at the federal level completely ignored them? I know what they did when they were the center of attention by the govt, a pretty large group became violent. That group now is considered mainstream of a sort....the Black Panthers baby. Power to the people, black power, kill whitey. Now THAT is an example of a message that is non-violent when seen from todays POV?

Bob Kerry - Senator from NE.... A democrat but he got it right as far as that statement was concerned.
