The face of the angry Iceland volcano revealed!

This impressive picture was taken with a special camera on board the Icelandic coastguards TF-SIF research plane. The picture shows three craters in the Eyjafjallajokull volcano. The craters are each 200 to 300 metres wide.
The picture undeniably looks like a face: some sort of monster which has broken its way out of the earth and is now spewing fire and sulphur into the atmosphere.
The chaos being wrought on European transport connections is the greatest ever during peace time.

I was referring to the short term affects in the atmosphere. If these clouds hang around for several weeks and get pushed N.S.E & W around the globe.

That reminds me of the salt-eating alien in an old episode of Star Trek. I can’t remember the name of the episode, but the beast’s name was Nancy.

Not just ash. The volcano is spewing large amounts of sulfur dioxide which will stay in the upper atmosphere for years and cause some cooling. Since this is adding on to an already cooling phase of climate, with a low solar activity cycle if the eruption lasts long enough this could get very interesting...

The Scream
Meanwhile, a radar image of the volcanic crater appears to show a nightmarish face, which is reminscent of Edvard Munch's painting 'The Scream.' Coincidentally, it is thought that the masterpiece was inspired by the blood red skies caused by the powerful volcanic eruption of Krakatoa in 1883.
In his diary Mr Munch wrote: 'I was walking along a path with two friends - the sun was setting - suddenly the sky turned blood red - I paused, feeling exhausted, and leaned on the fence - there was blood and tongues of fire above the blue-black fjord and the city - my friends walked on, and I stood there trembling with anxiety - and I sensed an infinite scream passing through nature.'

INCREDIBLE.
I suppose many folks will think that God had absolutely no hand in that.
That and the connection with the painting the scream from an earlier eruption . . . toooo coincidental, to me . . . particularly at this time.

LOTS.
This sort of thing is just warming up . . . just starting.
There will be volcanoes going off where folks did not expect them at all.
