Income for the country has fallen 3.2% during Obama's term.
By the way, their kids attend Sidwell riends, one of the most elite private schools in DC, maybe the country. A popular school-choice program for D.C.'s poor was shut down by Congress with Obama's approval.

The Obamas paid nearly $1.8 million in federal income tax and reported giving $329,100 to 40 charities. Their tax return is here. You have to give them some credit, that's more charitable contributions than your average liberal.

A thousand bonus points to the first journalist who gets the opportunity and uses it to ask the “Christian” Obama why at his income level he couldn’t reach, let alone surpass, the 10% tithing standard.

Maybe in the future we should get the IRS to require a birth certificate be included with tax returns.

To be fair, we have no idea how much they gave, only what was reported. Most of my giving is off the books. I doubt they do much more than write checks, and it wouldn’t surprise me if some/much of what they gave was to charities that most of us wouldn’t consider all that “worthy”. I’m just pointing out we can’t criticize their level of giving when we have no idea what it REALLY is.
