Election 2010: California Senate

California Senate: Boxer's Support Remains in Low 40s

Incumbent Democrat Barbara Boxer now receives no more than 43% support against any of her top three GOP opponents in her reelection bid for U.S. Senate in California, but they aren't gaining ground either.

The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of likely voters shows Boxer barely ahead of Congressman Tom Campbell 43% to 41% for the second straight month. Only six percent (6%) of voters would choose some other candidate in this match-up, while 10% are not sure.

These results are identical to those found in March, but Boxer held a 45% to 41% lead in this match-up in February.

Boxer now earns just 42% of the vote when matched against both former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina and State Assemblyman Chuck DeVore, with just over 10% percent undecided in both match-ups.

Fiorina gets 38% support, while DeVore picks up 39% of the vote...

You’ve got to back DeVore, but what are the cross-tabs? Will the RINO backers break for DeVore, stay home or vote Boxer in the general?

If Campbell wins the GOP nomination Boxer will beat him if she stands up for Israel. Campbell is an Islamist infiltrator. That’s not a wild charge, the research is there.

DeVore is the best choice, then Fiorina, then, Boxer, and Campbell is an enemy of the West as well as a left RINO.

So if DeVore wins the GOP nomination where will Fiorina and Campbell’s voters go? Will they stay with DeVore?

Maybe I have this wrong, but while I can see a conservative patriot voting for Boxer to defeat the Jihad loving Campbell, I can’t see many Republicans voting for her over DeVore or Fiorina. The low numbers for DeVore don’t so much reflect disagreement with his politics as they have idea that he doesn’t have as good a chance to win as the RINOs do. A lot of California Republicans are afraid to stand up for conservative values. They’ve been abused.
