You are quoting hurricane damage from just after the Civil War? REALLY?

Was the previous Day of Destruction when the dinosaurs died?

Corpus is no more likely to be seriously damaged by a hurricane than any other coastal city in Gulf.

To lump it in with or to compare it to New Orleans is ridiculous.

As I said, it is my opinion.

The American people get fed up with paying for other folks stupid decisions.

One of those is choosing to live in an area prone to natural disasters and expecting the taxpayer to bail them out afterwards.
