And Congress deferred that role to Nancy Pelosi and the Democratic Party apparatchniks and they turned in affidavits that never said that he was Constitutionally-qualified but concealed Obama’s ineligibility. So then we all go back to the courts and everybody gets a second chance to get it right. Is that okay with you???

Also....the states have a big say in who gets on the ballot...even for president

Which is why some states do not allow third party candidates on their ballots....unless they pay up front or get so many signatures on a petition....other states let just about anyone on a ballot

A state can refuse a candidate if they do not qualify. Note that there are a few states (Arizona, notably) that are trying to require a long-form BC for any Pres candidate. The states have that right, even without prior legislation, to disqualify a candidate

This is why the Obama BC issue is so important. If he cannot prove he is US born or eligible to be President IAW the Constitution...a state can refuse to put him on the ballot. The BC issue is SO IMPORTANT IN THIS ASPECT....and.......the ones who are fighting and harassing the Birthers are just ENABLING OBAMA FOR RE-ELECTION IN 2012
