So what’s the patent number? I suspect this is BS, and BS while useful for fertilizer, it can’t run a vehicle...

They claim to have filed for a patent so they only have a patent application, not an issued patent. It can take a couple of years to prosecute the patent application, and after final review they may, or may not, get protection on any of their claims. In the meantime, they can claim patent pending status which helps to lower the cost of funding.

It's just an application at this point. A number isn't assigned until it's granted.

BS (and all other types of "S") can be used to produce methane, which runs vehicles quite nicely. Though it is mostly used to generate electricity for places with lots of "S" available.

Actual BS can be used to produce methane, which is a fuel. That may be more than can be said for this new fuel. We will see.
