Even BLOOMBERG JAPAN about 20 hours ago ran a story in Japanese with the lead in of Western top business leaders coming to the Chinese and executing 90 degree bows from the waist (Japanese term: "お辞儀") so that the Chinese and the world now know who's boss. They lead-in with the story about one particular Western CEO recently in Hainan, China kowtowing to his hosts.
This is just the beginning. But it is a potent international imagery that needs to be reversed ASAP!
I hope Sarah Palin tears Patrice Lumumba Obongo a new one on this in her Tea Party speech coming up. With SPECIFIC reference to the D.C. "Hu Jin Tao Bow", and I am sure Bolton could tee up the perfect red meat soundbite quote for her.
