Let’s hope they’re profiling the visitors. The Shroud is a Christian relic AND an image AND an image of a man widely considered the Son of God.
Sooner or later, Islam will resume the outright war on Christianity, on European soil, but until then, they satisfy themselves with symbolic acts.
Conclusion: Shroud should be in cold deep storage until the last muslim is in Hades.
“The Face of Jesus” on the History Channel last week gave compelling evidence as to the authenticity of the Shroud. I had not expected such a documentary coming from the History Channel...
Actually, since it IS the burial cloth of Jesus Christ which DOES show forth evidence of His Resurrection, perhaps God will use it to bring millions of Muslims to Jesus in these times leading up to the day of His Return!
God will protect the Shroud from any attempts to destroy it!
He has preserved it so far and He has willed that it be put on display AT THIS VERY TIME in order to reach many who might otherwise not see and believe the Jesus Christ IS the Living Son of God, raised from the dead, and alive forevermore!
God bless you!
Ping!
I missed that History Chanel presentation - so thanks for that information. Perhaps it will be replayed now.
Well - there is something about the TRUTH that cannot be denied -even by those who have perhaps been enemies of THE TRUTH!
God bless you today!
If you go to History Channel on line sometimes you can down load the video. I watch the dog fights on line.
After watching that program, I am convinced it is the shroud of Jesus. It was quite chilling when the 3-d figure opened eyes.
LOL - you watch the dog fights online? LOL.
Well, um, thanks for that info.
I found this at the History Channel website - evidently that program can be purchased on CD.
Is this the program?
Thought all of you might want to read this thread too.
The History Channel will replay that program you mentioned tonight!!! 5 pm ET / 4 PM CT.
Read all about it here - and the articles here are good if one cannot be watching The Real Face of Jesus? Program tonight!

Thanks, Mel, for the tip!
It’s on the History Channel today at 5PM EST.
When they transposed the other facial cloth they had presented as a different relict over the face of the image on the shroud and it matched perfectly...I'm not sure how to describe the moment but - wow...
Yes - thank you - I plan to watch it today at 5 PM - since did not see the earlier showing.
Wow! Looks to be quite an “earthshaking” program....LOL!
God bless you too, friend, but I never presume to know whom, or what, God will protect — or won’t — or for how long.
I too believe that it’s a genuine relic, but it’s also a mere cloth, an object. There have been countless innocent human beings in this world destroyed by unspeakable evil, any one of them worth more than all the mere material ever spun.
I also believe God left it up to us to protect what we treasure.
On a related note, I was in Turin 2 tears ago on business and walked by the church. It was during the evening and the church was lighted and the feeling I had while walking by was absolutely amazing.
Ya, WWII with real the pilots not the 4 legged kind.
The Shroud of Turin puzzles me.
As a Human Being, I find the Image compelling, as a Chronicle of suffering,
As an Artist, I find it Fascinating, that nobody can figure out HOW the image got there.
As a Christian, I find it Inspiring, that I might be looking into the Face of the Crucified Lord.
BUT, as a Biblical Student of History, sworn to eschew Images of G-d, I am ambivalent about why G-d would have allowed it to happen as a result of the Resurrection.
So MANY Questions! LOL!
I would not mind seeing it for myself, but I would never venerate the actual Image. Just have a look at it, you know.
;-)
Sounds amazing. My wife and I will be there May 5 with tickets in hand to see this amazing artifact. My engineer father-in-law who does not go easily into hyperboly thinks it’s the real deal.
Maybe I’ll do a vanity post when I return.
