Correct, mrs t. The people of Poland already know that they have an enemy of Poland, and freedom, in the White House. They will know that any words spoken are not genuine.

President Bush has probably already communicated with the family, and I would guess, based on prior behavior, will make a trip to Poland if at all possible, for the funeral. And there will be no fanfare because he knows it's never about him.

I think as a former President, O cannot stop him (though he certainly will try).
