She rocked! She was great! She did it without a teleprompter or notes on her hand! But she ... hold on while I check the White House talking points ... um .. okay ... she had to look down at her note cards several times. So despite the enthusiastic reception, her speech was ... nasty ... mean spirited ... um ... and a flop. Granted, she sounded patriotic, intelligent, and capable - three virtues that Obama completely lacks - but she’s not Ivy League. Who wants to be governed by a leader just like us, only better, when we can be ruled by the iron fist of an absolute dicta- ... um ... I’ll finish my post another time. I need to check with Dear Leader and see if this is really the message he wants out there right now.
Please, Please, Please can Republicans
learn to pronounce the word NUCLEAR.
It is just not that difficult !
Thank you for the repair work!
LOVE IT.
SAHAH unfettered by someone Else’s campaign staff -
SARAH on the loose! none could stop her.
Isn’t Tammy Bruce a lesbian who used to be a liberal, talk about blowing in the wind.
Sarah is really hitting her stride. Her delivery and content just keep on getting better and better. She’s certainly proving that she is ‘man’ enough to get in the Kenyan’s face.
Loved the speech, but Alexander Graham Bell was a British subject when he invented the telephone.
Thanks for posting this. She was great.
I can't imagine any other GOP-er doing what she is doing now. That is why she will be President No. 45.
At Conservatives 4 Palin, I like what C. Brooks Lutz said:
With every appearance and utterance, Gov. Palin is strengthening her foothold in the soil of smart power. Her speech today at the SRLC continued a running theme shes mined, one with wealthy results: Pres. Obama is a weak man, and he is with every action domestic and foreign, economic and political, weakening a strong nation.
The recent kerfuffle regarding George Stephanopoulos asking Pres. Obama about what the former Governor of Alaska had to say about his nuclear treaty is telling: while much has been made of the question and Pres. Obamas answer, a subtle power-shift occurred.
Pres. Obama broke the first rule of smart political power: a leader never publicly dismisses an opponent who has no power. It advertises a thin-skin, a small world view and dangerously opens up ones flank for unnecessary attack. Id add that it shows, yet again, hes paranoid, which is rather creepy. Gov. Palin can draw a crowd, and shes sold a lot of books. However, she has no government-backed power; to respond to a question about what she said by including her, by name (thrice) is not only poor judgment, its petty. For a guy were repeatedly told is so intelligent, cool and well-educated, its difficult for me to not conclude hes, well, not.
Obama got pwned by Sarah--big time.
