did God's response limit itself to just the government and the military or did everyone suffer? The government charts the official course for our nation. We are a Constitutional Republic and supposedly our government is an extension of our national will. We were foolish enough to put them in office and the God of the universe will punish us for our foolishness.

Well, but wait! The "Kenyan" is not an American, so God's wrath will miss him on a technicality?!

And how does God come down on US protectorates? Guam? St Thomas? Only minor Tsunamis for them?
