Heh...no kidding. My new wife Really, really likes my suppressed .22 LR with a full auto John Norrell trigger pack.

If you can swing it, every prepper should have a few .22 Ruger 10/22s and 77/22s with a screw on suppressor. Great for LP/OP, sentry duty, and taking out 2 and 4 legged varmints without drawing much attention.
