You can buy freeze dried vegetables and fruits without the enhancers & fillers. I've purchased broccoli, green beans, carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, blackberries, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, etc. I've also learned to work my food dehydrator and purchase fruits & vegetables when they are on sale and dehydrate them and store them in FoodSaver bags. Note that the dehydrated items that I am making are for short to mid-term storage while the freeze dried items I purchase are for long term storage.
