Which is exactly why she resigned.

You can never resign, or change directions in your life if you want to be President?

Now, wait a minute. If she resigned because she knew she'd be more effective as a private citizen, then why would she run for President, thus ending that private citizenship? It simply isn't possible to have it both ways at the same time.

If she no longer feels she can't be more effective as a private citizen, then what has changed? I can't think of anything.

She hasn't said she was running for President. I said that making the sacrifice she did would make her a good candidate in my book.

One of the most talked about things in elections is campaign funds; if she had stayed in the Governorship, she would never have been able to pay the legal bills for those fivilous lawsuits, and probably would have been driven into bankruptcy by them.

Also...could you do your job 100% if "bill collectors" were calling you all day and waiting for you outside the office, and at your home? Well, she had media all over her, and lawyers, etc...everywhere. She knew she couldn't contend with all that and work, and did not want it to be a burden on her people, so she did the right thing and stepped aside.

She didn't leave in shame; she didn't leave because of any crime; it was NOT the Nixon resignation...she simply stepped aside for the greater good.

Fast forward to now: she has cleaned up her legal bills, and gained full control over her time, and her opinions, thoughts, and behavior; with those distractions out of the way, IF she decides to run - AND SO FAR SHE HASN'T - she has a much better handle on things and a lot of distractions out of her life. Remember, a lot was thrust on her and her family in a very short time...everyone needs time to adapt to that many changes that fast.

But again, I said that I thought she was well qualified and did the right thing...you think what you like as you obviously have your mind made up. If she runs, one vote won't make, or break her.
