We were out yesterday from 6 a.m. until 1 a.m. today (had Sam's first follow-up appointment in Atlanta and then went to Augusta to move eldest dd home from college for the summer). I missed the interview but have watched the available clips. Laura is just magnificent! What a wonderful lady. I hope to be able to see the whole thing somehow. I just can't wait to read the book!
Thank you so much to those of you who posted the clips. LuvyaDubya--I love the quote of Karl that you posted. I had read that somewhere else. So cool!
It is so much fun to have our dear Bushes in the news a little bit more again! :)
P.S. I don't want to belabor this personal issue--but just thought I would tell you that we got a great report on Sam yesterday. He doesn't need an MRI until 6 months from now. Based on that scan they will determine further follow-up. His tumor was quite rare--- .2-.5 percent of brain tumors are the kind Sam had! The type wasn't added to the literature until 1982. Thank you so much for your prayers and concern for him. He is doing great!
BTW, Happy Mothers' Day. :)
