"After much speculation that it was nothing but a red herring, Wikileaks, which has recently gotten some substantial press coverage on both sides, has finally released a classified video leaked by "a number of military whistleblowers" which depicts "the indiscriminate slaying of over a dozen people in the Iraqi suburb of New Baghdad -- including two Reuters news staff." The Reuters employees in question are Saeed Chmagh and Namir Noor-Eldeen. Full video is below, linked from Wikileaks' YouTube site. Full video attached - warning: video is very graphic".

Indiscriminate? Those are illegal combatants.
Maybe it is the enemy dressed as US Military.
The dead Reuters photographer was a propagandist for the insurgents and their terror campaigns. Do a search on the photos he took for Reuters before he bit the big one and you’ll see.
Are those the 2 Reuters employees who used to Photoshop extra bombs and explosions into news photos to make Israel and the USA look bad?
If they got killed, serves them right.
If they DIDN’T get killed, then they should just Photoshop the 2 killed Reuters propagandists back into this video, and they’ll be alive again!
It’s the magic of Reuters propaganda — anything is possible. There is no truth.
Good kills.
Doesn’t matter what you think. The Arab media is going to run wild with this and it could very easily set back our efforts in the region. Also how can you call it a good battle video? Two kids get blown up in a van, albeit accidently, but whatever gets you off I guess.
Yeah, good kills. I posted the same sentiment at Zerohedge and got roasted for being so inhuman and callous. Sorry, but war is to be executed with extreme prejudice.
I really can’t understand the leftist POV.
Good video. It’s worth 17 minutes.
It’s a good video of actual battle. It’s not what “gets me off”. Jerk.
Those are tame compared to the ones at DU...they are calling our soldiers pigs, cowards (for shooting from afar), bloodthirsty b****rds and much worse.
The video does show that the photographer’s camera was misidentified as a weapon, but it also shows that 2 others in the group did have weapons. The photographer is seen crouching and peering around a corner with his telescopic lens camera, which easily could have been a weapon. If the reporters were embedded with enemy combatants then they are not victims, nor is anyone else in this group, some displaying firearms.
I’d like to send some of those DU types off to Afghanistan with orders from Obama not to shoot back if they are shot at.
Instead, some of my kids’ friends are over there in the National Guard, with those same orders not to shoot back and not to call for air support.
Engagement was in 2007!
This whole thing has the appearance of being produced solely to damage the US before the elections are decided in Iraq. It is propaganda.
Parents strap bombs on thier own children, use thier families as human shields to get close to kill, anyone feel sorry for the soldier who comes home with no legs, irreparable brain damage or the parents that have to bury thier son or daughter because of these animals? nuff said.

Yes, it’s leftist propaganda.
Agreed. You don’t carry around and RPG and aim it at a US military helicopter not expect to get killed. And the Reuters boys shouldn’t have been hanging with insurgents if they did not want to die.
“Consequently, WikiLeaks has released the classified Rules of Engagement for 2006, 2007 and 2008, revealing these rules before, during, and after the killings.”
Wikileaks is HELPING the enemy.
Whoever provided the ROE and the video to Wikileaks should be found and courmartialed.
