When we lived in Vista, our closet doors and shower doors were at right angles to each other ... the closet doors ran north/south and the shower doors east/west. We could always tell the approximate direction of the earthquake by which set of doors was rattling louder. The dining room chandelier swinging from the 16-foot ceiling was always worth watching, also.
We still own that house ... have it rented out now. I guess I better check with the tenants.
