Democrats are attacking the tea party movement because it is a new force that's bringing millions of here-to-fore unengaged Democrats, independents and Republicans into the political arena. If there's something a ruling party doesn't like, it's a new political player converting spectators into participants.
To maintain their influence, tea partiers will have to maintain their current energy and concern over health care and federal spending.
But tea partiers will have to do more than surf discontent with the Obama administration's policies. They will also have to coalesce around a positive agenda.
The unhinged quality of the White House and the DNC attacks show that they understand how much the tea party movement can affect this year's elections. Now is the time for the movement to ensure its energy - and influence - stay high.

Rove doesn’t carry the blame alone. The Media gave Obama a complete pass along with hundreds of millions of dollars worth of cheerleading. Then the American people voted for a guy who is a Crook County Democrat appointed to run for IL State Senator, a position only a “YES” man can fulfill.
I warned everyone I know about how Obama is. They wanted change.
At what point to we simply admit the people were willingly fooled and move on to victory?

If it isn't a political party, why should anyone pay attention to it. If that's the case, it's just "community organizing", i.e., toothless. Either it becomes a political party that can gain power, or it becomes a revolutionary movement. Otherwise, it will die on the vine as the Dems and Republicans play us as pawns against each other. It's already happening, in case you didn't notice.

Rove got a less than inspiring candidate who had a problem speaking English like an educated man elected in a time of an economic boom.
He went on to get the same guy elected who was the face of a deteriorating war in Iraq and against a very hostile media
In 2006 Iraq had drained a lot of support for the Repubs and in 2008 the Repubs had a terrible candidate standing for office.

It wasn't just Rove. The GOP indeed lost its way on fiscal and illegal-immigration issues when they held Congress and the White House. Anyone with an IQ over 50 understands that, if they're honest that is. I never said otherwise.

So, your first appearance on this thread was to defend Rove and attack me. If you realize what a disaster the Rove power center was that really doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, seems to me.

The left was never afraid of W, or specifically, conservatives’ allegiance to him. And they aren’t afraid of Rove, and they fawn over McLettuce.
They fear the tea partiers and Sarah.
The establishment RINOs are the reason we are where we are, because they didn’t heed our advice or pleas, now why the hell should we heed theirs?
