This ain't the Savage I remember from the 1990s.
Enough already with unacknowledged "best ofs" and constant self-indulgent, exaggerated self-pity.
But thanks for all the good you've done in the past, Dr. Savage.
Doc’s ego is pretty big, I believe! LOL
Yeah. That's a fact.
But I cannot forget that of all the media personalities I've heard since I was old enough to know what news is (mid-1940s) Savage is perhaps the bravest to take on some pretty dangerous people, ours and our enemies'.
I guess I should be thankful for the show segments where he's still willing to be that Savage when it's necessary -- then the rest of the show can be divided between routine talk show segments and self-indulgence.
.. finished the show with a faux live caller. Terrific.
His "pretty big ego" reminds me of a grade school nuisance. We called him "Champ." No one could say anything about an activity -- especially about sports -- that he didn't claim that he could do better.
Savage was right about the South Korean ship being attacked by North Korea.

Jimmy's the best caller on radio. Mikey blew it. All in all it was a horrible show, on of all nights: his birthday.
Also, he has no business mocking other talk show hosts, when he himself is eminently, and very easily, ridiculed.
Jimmy’s the best caller on radio.
