I have friends from the old neighborhood that have been living in San Jose and Los Gatos for many a moon so I get the reports. Both are solid conservatives.
It was like that at my Grandma’s in Topeka. She had AC downstairs, so some nights I went down there with my pillow and sheet and slept on the floor.
Many many wonderful memories. My Grandma was awesome.
That’s way down south... we have good friends whose parents live nearby in Toms River, and the sister of Mr.FF’s best friend lives in Toms River. Very close to Bayville.
SD Zoo recntly did a new $45 million elephant area
Other areas also. always upgrading.
My southern grandma was ok, but she didn’t make a fuss over us like my lower-east-side German grandma did. But then she had 19 grandchildren and my other grandma had 2. She also had an awesome family tree.
Nice! I love elephants.
Is DeVore running away there? Seeking Senate endorsements.
You have a lot of cousins
My Grandma was german and she wonderful to ALL her grandkids, great grandkids, and the great great grandkids. There were about 30 of us grandkids. We all loved her to pieces. She was the only grandparent I had. The other 3 were gone.

The highest tenured faculty member at Chicago Law spoke out on Barack Obama saying, Professors hated him because he was lazy, unqualified, never attended any of the faculty meetings. Doug Ross reported this and more:
I spent some time with the highest tenured faculty member at Chicago Law a few months back, and he did not have many nice things to say about Barry. Obama applied for a position as an adjunct and wasnt even considered. A few weeks later the law school got a phone call from the Board of Trustees telling them to find him an office, put him on the payroll, and give him a class to teach. The Board told him he didnt have to be a member of the faculty, but they needed to give him a temporary position. He was never a professor and was hardly an adjunct.
The other professors hated him because he was lazy, unqualified, never attended any of the faculty meetings, and it was clear that the position was nothing more than a political stepping stool. According to my professor friend, he had the lowest intellectual capacity in the building. He also doubted whether he was legitimately an editor on the Harvard Law Review, because if he was, he would be the first and only editor of an Ivy League law review to never be published while in school (publication is or was a requirement).
