Just like the open borders/amnesty types like to do here, anyone who wants to limit immigration and preserve their culture are labeled racists and bigots. Immigration is the issue, not socialism.
But big government is becoming an issue as the debt problem is rearing its head. Like for any deadbeat who juggles credit cards successfully for awhile, the day of reckoning eventually arrives. The Greek problem had nothing to do with immigration.

I think you will find that UKIP also believes in tackling immigration and Islamisation (they were the ones who invited Geert Wilders to the House of Lords), but they believe in civic, not ethnic nationalism.
It isn’t a person’s skin colour that makes a good citizen, it is their values and their actions. I don’t think the BNP has fundamentally changed from the anti-semitic Neo-Nazi party of John Tyndall (the party which Nick Griffin originally joined), it has simply turned its focus away from the tiresome anti-semitism that hardly any British people have any time for, and decided to concentrate on Muslims instead for the sake of political expediency, in much the same way as New Labour ostensibly turned away from classical socialism, in order to pursue its essentially unchanged political agenda by more deceptive and stealthier means....
