Based on what I know of the Portland Police, they cannot be trusted.

The Kendra James case was a perfect example of the cops murdering a woman and getting away with it.

What you DON’T know about that case - or the Portland Police - would EVIDENTLY fill volumes. Your two ludicrous conclusions are perfect examples of that.

I have known several Portland Police officers over the years, and many county sheriff’s deputies in the Portland area (my own father was one for over 20 years)

They are all human beings, and people have shortcomings, but in general, they are a better stripe of person than the average - doing an often thankless job - especially around Portland.

Kendra James was her own worst enemy, as an irresponsible and belligerant drunk in that situation and others - so say people who knew her.

She tried to gain control of a vehicle by struggling with a uniformed police officer conducting a lawful traffic stop - the cop was half in, half out of the vehicle and she essentially pushed him out and was trying to run him over.

Perhaps she did not deserve death for her drunken and foolish decision, but it was by no means an unpredictable result under the circumstances.
