Oh, I get it. Because some people out there don't understand metaphor, using it is inciting violence.

Then of course liberals will thoroughly denounce this incitement to violence by their own standards...

Sad thing is, Obama wasn't talking in metaphor as the rest of that sentence proves as he goes on to say...

“Because from what I understand folks in Philly like a good brawl. I’ve seen Eagles fans.”

So when do we see liberals denounce President Obama for his hate speech? /not holding my breath

And Eugene Robinson. First he accuses Republicans of not quelling the angry sentiments: "One would expect responsible Republican leaders to do everything in their power to lower the temperature."

Why? The Democrats actions show they don't care what the public thinks. Why would it need to be tempered since they don't care anyway? And if for whatever reason it DID need to be calmed, wouldn't the parties inflaming it have the better opportunity to do so? Besides, Republicans weren't the ones that got what they wanted out of this last showdown, why would the after-party cleanup fall to them?
