I'm guessing it is made up.
Today, the temperature at the NORTH Pole was 45 degrees F.
Hahahahaahahahahah. Oh my gawd!!!! Bwahahahahahaha. It REALLY is cold in Anarctica in the winter. Probably was so frickin STUPID that he didn’t realize the seasons south of the equator are opposite those in the north. ...... Or really believed that it was warm now. Too funny
Yes it was a spoof. Thank you for the reminder to us all. “Trust, but verify”.
I nominate this jerk for the number one spot at the DARWIN awards.
A bit early...it isn’t April 1st yet! ;-)
An old (but good) spoof.
The main problem with today’s re-posting is that the timing is a wee bit off. It is currently March and not July.
K A R M A .......
I did a quick Snopes search but didn’t find anything...but the Jimmy Dolittle pilot seems a little too coincidental.
Heatstroke?
When a person tells a lie enough times they tend to believe it themselves.
I think the wife’s statement of getting down to chili was a clue. I guess it is possible for the professor’s wife to be that clueless.
POETIC JUSTICE?
Having spent over a decade flying all over Antarctica and Greenland I can tell you it has killed many an idiot. They are tragic...but on occasion, sadly humerous!
“At least James died for something he believed in”, said Mrs. Schneider. “He died while trying to raise awareness of the enormous toll that global warming is taking on the Earth.”
You just can’t make this stuff up!
A globull warming nutcase FREEZES TO DEATH!
I think this is a satire site. These are supposed to be floating islands in the Bermuda Triangle. +
“Today, the temperature at the NORTH Pole was 45 degrees F.”
The high temperature at the North Pole was projected to be around 0 degrees F today. Where are you getting your information.
This article is obviously a satire. Neither Bing nor Google return any hits for a global warming activist by this name other than the referenced article. It’s interesting that the “journalist” is never named. Of course, other readers pointed out the “coincidental” name of the pilot, Jimmy Doolittle, and the very bad pun on Chile by an utterly clueless spouse.
I follow the global warming debate closely and especially enjoy in a schadenfreude sort of way all of the ignorant buffoons who almost get themselves killed venturing into high latitudes to prove global warming. The latest I can recall is the Pen Hadow expedition of last year. Like their predecessors, they came nowhere near achieving their goals, ran out of supplies, almost froze to death and had to be rescued. Were only this story true.
It is a satire site. Thank you. But,the site is brilliant in it’s “reporting”.
