Palin: Tea Party Leaders Agree with McCain on Big Picture
Fox News ^ | 2010-03-28

(snip)

PALIN: The point here is that Senator McCain and I agree on the big picture, where it is that the country needs to go. There are so many challenges facing America right now, and Senator McCain has been on the right track trying to get the country back on that track that will lead to more prosperity, more security for this nation. We agree on those things that have to take place in order for us to kind of undo some of the things that Obama is doing and get us back on that right track towards prosperity and security.

(snip)

PALIN: Absolutely. And that's why we're making a point to point out that Tea Party leaders are not opposing John McCain. They're supporting his mission, too, and that's to rein in the growth of government. Tea Party -- tea partiers, bottom line, are saying, We're taxed enough already, and that's what John McCain is saying, too.

I'm proud to be part of the Tea Party movement. I'm wearing my Tea Party necklace today, even. I was proud to get to point out Tea Party movement participants in the crowd today. They're here cheering on John McCain because they know, at the end of the day, we're all fighting for the same thing. We're fighting for the future of this great country. So he is part of the Tea Party movement. And yes, they're going to be very impacting. They're going to be impacting for John.

Sarah Palin is without question the biggest threat to Obama, Read, at al. I have been a staunch supporter of hers and I think that she can beat any Republican or Democrat out there.

I am perplexed by her support for McCain over Hayward. I can’t figure out what she thinks she owes John McCain, when he spent more effort attacking her than he did attacking Obama.

I know that there is probably something that has caused her to make that decision that we are unaware of. I just wish that she had not supported that vile little creep.

Sarah is wrong on this 1 issue — big time.

But she is right on everything else. So she still has the best batting average.

Any support I may have given to Palin was eroded away with her support of McCain. I simply cannot stand him and hope that his opponent trounces him in the upcoming election. McCain believes our borders should be wide open and that a terrorist would never exploit our borders. He simply doesn’t get it an it’s time for him to sell his estate and buy a cabana on the shores of mexico to live out his days.

"more like she pays her debts."

What debt? She almost got him elected president in spite of himself. She owes him nothing.

Supporting McCain and spewing this idiocy may be looked back upon as the time Sarah Palin jumped the shark.

Sorry, Sarah. I love you but McCain will be back to his “hands across the aisle if he gets re-elected. Hopefully the Arizona voters will put JD in office.

McCain's dream is for that final "signature" piece of legislation for his legacy, and that will be "Comprehensive Immigration Reform", if he's re-elected.

Hate to say it, but Sarah's aiding and abetting that quest.

I'll admit to not following the AZ primary all that closely, but McCain hasn't been pushing CIR since JD got in the race. I wonder why?

We all make mistakes, and Sarah is only human, but it doesn’t take much for some people to jump ship, does it? One down and how many more to go? Very sad!

I agree. One Sarah mistake, her endorsement of McNut, wouldn't be a dis-qualifier for me if she were to decide to run.

However, this really needs to be her last appearance with that guy.

Yes, she did help him but as I said, I love Sarah and will still vote for her is she runs, she has done far more to help conservatives than any other potential candidate thus far. I do hope JD wins the election.

It bothers me what she said. All I can say is I just finished her book and she sure doesn't sound like a RINO in her book. She comes across as an independent conservative who believes in free market capitalism and the Constitution. She extols smaller government and looked for cuts from top to bottom in the Alaskan government. Without trying to brag, she comes across as having a unique ability to "get things done". Overall, sounds good to me, especially given our other options.

Let's cut her some slack on the McCain comments and see how she does from here on out. Given what McCain did for her, she had to come out and back him. It was the right thing to do. . .

I do not hate Sarah Palin. But I want to see her as she really is, not what I want her to be.

Yeah but many of us see this Palin lovefest as a direct stab in the back of JD. In my eyes that makes her a RINO enabler.

What of the “windfall profits” tax on oil companies she pushed for in Alaska?

“Palin is a RINO.” Oh, BS! Can someone PLEASE post the BS meter?. . . . God bless Sarah Palin and God bless the USA!

Amen to your post, especially your last sentence. If we haggle over Sarah, that is exactly what the White House and the commies want. Let's stay united!

“There are people out there who are FAR worse than John McCain.”

Wanting to be the AZ GOP candidate for the Senate? No there’s not.

What she did in Alaska, according to her book, increased the oil companies profits after all was said and done.

It doesn’t even matter if that was true - it was WRONG.
