Bullcrap. The Marines willing to stand behind a Marxist gov’t over the people on pain of death are very few and the gov’t knows this. This letter is absolute crap. (I did 6 years in the (USMC) infantry, one tour of Iraq.)

There was opposition in Hitlers own army and some indeed tried to expel him, and they were correct in doing so, yet paid the price for trying. God bless those that tried.

I too did 6 years in the USMC 59-75. And there is no way that our military will pull the trigger on a citizen. Maybe a few, but they would be cut down by others in the unit.

I am a little surprised that someone claiming to be active military would get so much attention. There are millions that have served. And they are not trying to be provocative, just good citizens. I question this Sgt.

Unfortunately there is a long history of US troops firing on it's own civilians.

During Washington term with the Whiskey Rebellion...

Lincoln during Civil War at the New York draft riots...

Hoover (with MacArthur)on the Bonus Army....

Nixon National Guard at Kent State...

Clinton at Waco and Ruby Ridge(ATF and FBI)

Yes, the military WILL obey orders and they take them directly from the CIC/POTUS. What some consider a “marxist government” others will consider the duly elected representatives of the people - however marxist/socialist its policies may be. The only thing that might cause some to desert is wholesale slaughter of innocents, but certainly not gorilla warfare with insurgent revolutionaries - even those who think they are defending the consitution.
