I think it is interesting that the alleged capitalist financiers in Manhattan were the ones who plunged us headlong into socialism in 2008. But their form of socialism is a socialism for the elites, and their leaders come from both parties, the Romney’s, the McCain’s, the Obama’s, etc. These tare the Manhattan elites who look down with disdain on everyone else and believe that it is their divine right to take wealth from truly productive people at the point of a gun, purely for their own enrichment. They claimed that we had to given them our hard earned money in order to subsidize their losses, and if we did not, they would stop lending and send our economy into a talespin. This was extortion, pure and simple. Mark my words: They will be the first with their backs against the wall when the revolution comes.

To be honest, as pure evil as Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin were, they were shining examples of morality compared to the Manhattan socialists.

“But their form of socialism is a socialism for the elites, and their leaders come from both parties,...”

It’s not much different than any other place socialism has been tried - the former Soviet Union and its satellites, China, et al.

The capitalist financiers in Manhattan started us into socialism about the time of the Soviet Bolshevik revolution of 1917. The big word at that time touted over and over to the masses was, “democracy,” which the Founding Fathers of this country despised. They have been a roll since then.

They finance both Leftist parties - the left-wing Leftist (aka Democrats) and the right-wing Leftists (aka Republicans). Until people wake up and smell the hot coffee of tyranny coming from both wings then it will continue to be easy for people to be herded from one party to another and back again. All the while we get played the fools and the tyrants who sit in the shadows laugh and laugh and laugh.

The SRM is calling these people "evil capitalists" and citing them as an example of why socialism should replace the free market and capitalism in this country. A half-truth is stronger and more dangerous than an outright lie.
