mean that she has a much shorter record on national issues than most pols considered for the presidency, so things like her energetic support for McCain are up for closer scrutiny than they would be otherwise.

There's nothing to scrutinize. 56 million people voted for McCain/Palin. She'd look damn weird were she not to campaign for him.

The whole McCain issue is a strawman.
McCain would have to go a long way to the Left to run along
with Ron Paul and Chuck Baldwin.
