“Pay attention Sarah has stated her position on illegal immigrants theres a reason thier called illegals.”
Uh huh....where is the rest of the quote? Forgot, eh?
“There has to be a more humane way to treat them”
O”RLY?
Then in another interview, she said “I am against the “Democrat” amnesty”
Are you for the Bush/McCain “Republican” amnesty, Sarah?
McCain had not been elected to Congress (1982) when those cuts passed in 1981.
Very disappointing isn’t it?.....I have a friend who feels the same way.....I think Sarah is a true conservative, but she is missing something here, and I just can’t see her reasoning.....I hurts her credibility to speak these things about a man whose political record discounts the very words she speaks.....
“It’s getting pretty bad when even the “noobs” can see how dumb y’all are... LOL ...”
How much of post #41 do you agree with?
That does seem to be an unanswered question. But if another amnesty push and debate begins soon, Sarah won't have much choice but to clarify her position, otherwise she'll really look weak to many conservatives.
If you took out the “Paul-bot and Romney-bot” accusations, we could cut this thread in half.
Six major conservative talk show interviews, six times she parsed, and equivocated. That tells me all I need to know.
Then it would be no fun :)
How about the secret democrat operative accusations? Not many of them on this post?
Sounds like they think there are many here with secret agendas. Pretty scary if you ask me. Just like the cylon human models in the new Battlestar Galactica. We dont know who to believe anymore. That one cylon was programmed to go off after acting normal as a sleeper.
Thanks for the facts about Graham. That bothered me that Palin was giving him money. She was just returning a favor—for $ 1,000—no harm, no foul.
I love Sarah liked I loved Reagan 30 years ago. She will make a fantastic President in 2013.
Her support of John McCain troubles me, but I am not throwing her under the bus. Perhaps in time, why she is doing this will become clear.
When she resigned from the Governorship last July, for one hour, I was crestfallen. Then it dawned on me that she had done the boldest thing imaginable, helped herself, her state and conservatism.
That was a magnificent strategic move, and she has been a potent force against the Dems and the Boy King since then. She made a stand alone, and finally the GOP came over and started fighting Obama. She has been the shifter in politics since last summer.
I try to reconcile what she is doing with McCain as part of her character, that she pays her obligations honorably. That is her decision. I think otherwise, but I know she and I will never agree on everything.
But I do know that there is no one in DC now that can beat Obama in 2012 except her.
I hope that starting on the 27th in Searchlight and onward, McCain becomes a footnote, and Sarah helps to lead Americans to electing good candidates for a Congress that can stop the Marxist in the Oval Office in his tracks.
That’s the prize, and we have to keep our eyes on it.
“In all honesty, I feel sorry for JD. He quit his day job to challenge McCain and tonight I learned that the four Tea Party groups in Arizona are not going to endorse “during the primary”!!! What use are they then? “
I am getting in my car, go see the heads of the Az Tea Party, and rip their F’ing heads off, bones and all!!
Oooohh, I hope one of those is to So Cal. We love to host!!
This is Clintonian parsing of the language. I am a grassroots immigration activist who lobbies on the Hill and in the statehouse. I have been doing it for over 5 years. I know the language of deception that the amnesty supporters use to fool the public. Even John McCain says he is against amnesty.
Let me translate for you what Palin is saying. The "humane ways" are letting the illegals stay and work here as long as they pay a fine, learn English, and get to the back of the line.
When Palin says "if they're not going to follow the rules, they need to get out.." What rules is she talking about? This refers to the so called criminal aliens who have committed other crimes beyond breaking into our country illegally. McCain said he was for deporting the estimated 2 million criminal aliens "immediately."
In Obama's STOU address, he said the following: "And we should continue the work of fixing our broken immigration system - to secure our borders and enforce our laws, and ensure that everyone who plays by the rules can contribute to our economy and enrich our nation.
"Plays by the rules" or "follows the rules" means the same thing, i.e., you get amnesty if you are not a felon.
We raided our kids in Sacramento. We’ve only been gone for about 5 years now. There are times I miss it but not in the summer! LOL
THATS BEGGING?
It's dishonesty. Returning McCain to the Senate would not be for the good of our entire country.
“We need to secure our borders and I am not for amnesty. And there are humane ways to deal with the 11-13 million illegal aliens who are in our country right now, but if theyre not going to follow the rules, they need to get out.” PALIN

Post of the Day!!
FR seems to have 3 major factions when it comes to Sarah Palin and McCain.
There is the group that you seem to be in, which takes Palin at her word about McCain, and sees it as a betrayal of convervatives.
There is a group of dedicated supporters, who also hate McCain, and try to justify Palin by claiming she is lying about how she really feels about McCain in order to satisfy some obligation to him, but that eventually she’ll stop lying and tell the truth about him.
And there is the group I consider myself a part of, that takes Palin at her word, believes her when she says that she respects McCain and thinks we should vote for McCain, but don’t think this disqualifies her.
Of that third group, there are probably two subgroups, the one who listen to Palin and will vote for McCain because they trust her judgment, and those who respect Palin, but think she is wrong about McCain and won’t take her advice.
The group I respect the least is the 2nd group, who CLAIM to love Palin and think she’d be a great President, but then argue that she’s a liar who would pimp for votes simply for political payback. Although I think some in the 2nd group don’t really think she’s lying, they think she is just too ignorant to really understand about McCain, is somehow blinded by his presence — not that the image of a woman who can’t understand what a man really is like would be a BETTER argument for her.
I think the group I believe you are in (group 1) is wrong, and I think some of you (not you in particular, I have no way of knowing) aren’t really sincere in the argument, but just are using the conservative hatred of McCain and trying to get it to rub off on Palin to bring her down so another candidate can be built up.
I do realise there is a lot of that around here — so much so that nobody believes me when I say that’s not my purpose here.
Gee, do you think maybe it's because she actually LIKES McCain, actually MEANT what she said about him in her book and in 2008, and actually THINKS he would be a better senator for Arizona than his opponent?
Why is it so hard to believe that Sarah Palin is smart enough to understand what she is doing, and honest enough to be telling the truth?
I agree that she has done enough for Mccain.
He is not worth the effort.
Her star will fade if she keeps this up or allies with his amnesty.
I hope someone tells her that.
That’s interesting. I decided to look it up, and the odd thing is that Rubio has consistantly asked for her endorsement. There are articles from back in November with him saying he’d love her endorsement, and an article from two weeks ago again with him saying he’d love an endorsement.
A lot of times, you don’t see a candidate say something like that unless an endorsement is imminent, because otherwise the opponent can call it “begging for endorsements”.
But it is good to see that Rubio isn’t at all trying to run away from Palin.
