Stupak had all the power - if he'd have stuck to his guns, he'd have gone down in history as one of the most courageous politicians ever - a man who put principle over party at the most critical time in the history of his party. Instead, he will be the Benedict Arnold of the healthcare legislation story.

He turned out to be the cheapest whore of the lot. I wonder what they had on him to make him roll over that easy. Or is it this simple. His love of socialism trumps everything else.
